Standards Training Schedule 2009

ACA, Great Rivers has scheduled several Standards Training courses. This course is required for the camp director each year that the camp is accredited. The course is also encouraged for anyone who would like to find out more about the American Camp Association Standards, and the accreditation process. The course applies to directors, maintenance, program, kitchen and other key administrative camp staff.

If your camp is scheduled for a visit in 2010, a representative from your camp must complete a Standards Course or an Update Course before a visit can be scheduled. The participant should be someone who is involved in the preparation of materials for the accreditation visit and who will be present at the visit (Camp Director, Summer Program Director, Executive director, etc.) Standards Courses in Great Rivers Section have been schedule as follows:

Be sure to bring your standards book with you to the training; we only
have a limited number of extra books. Be sure to printout the updates
from the ACA website before you come to training.
